What Coaching With Leslie Looks Like

The Science of Flourishing, Applied to Your Life

Positive psychology is not positive thinking. It is one of the most rigorously researched branches of modern psychology — the science of what allows human beings to function at their best.

Think of wellbeing on a scale. Clinical work moves people from suffering toward neutral. Positive psychology coaching moves people from where they already are — capable, functional, often accomplished — toward a richer, more expansive experience of themselves: clearer, freer, connected, and more fully alive.

This is not about strategies or feel-good frameworks. It is about understanding yourself — your strengths, your patterns, your values, your blind spots — with enough precision and honesty to make meaningful, lasting change.

A Partnership Unlike Any Other

My coaching is not therapy. It is not mentorship. It is not a program with a predetermined outcome.

It is a structured, high-trust partnership in which you are both the subject of inquiry and the agent of change. You bring the question. I bring rigor, deep attunement, and 15 years of skill in helping people see what they cannot see alone.

We work with the whole person — your professional identity and your inner life, your aspirations and fears, your strengths and the quiet patterns that have held you back.

Clients typically work with me for six to twelve months, in regular one-to-one sessions. Every engagement is tailored; no two are alike.

What We Work On

Clients bring a wide range of starting points, including:

  • Navigating a major life or career transition with greater clarity and confidence

  • Identifying and shifting the patterns that limit their impact — at work and at home

  • Closing the gap between who they know they are and how they actually show up

  • Making high-stakes decisions with more conviction and less fear

  • Rebuilding a sense of direction and purpose after loss or upheaval

  • Deepening their relationships — with others and with themselves

There is no single profile. What clients share is a genuine desire to understand themselves more deeply and to live from that understanding.

Results That Last

Because we work at the level of identity, values, and belief — not just behavior — the changes my clients make tend to be durable. They don't have to keep managing themselves; they become, in a real sense, more fully themselves.

Clients consistently describe:

  • A profound shift in self-understanding

  • Illuminating clarity about what they want and why

  • More ease and less anxiety in the face of change and uncertainty

  • Stronger, more honest relationships

  • A renewed sense of purpose and forward momentum

  • Leslie has changed my life. What an amazing talent she has and depth of knowledge on the human condition.

Jennifer Cloer, Founder & CEO, Story Changes Culture

  • We have all been there before, stuck in our career or in life, seemingly paralyzed. Moving forward feels terrifying and overwhelming. If you want to feel empowered, encouraged, and emboldened, don’t go at it alone. Leslie is a world-class coach and confidante that will help create life-changing insights, helping you transform wisdom into courageous actions.

    Jessica Amortegui, Senior Director, LinkedIn

  • Leslie helped me see the pattern I'd been living inside for years — the one everyone around me could see but I couldn't. Within weeks, I made decisions I'd been avoiding for months. She doesn't let you hide from yourself, and that's exactly what I needed.

Carrie Nepo, CFO, Development Counsellors International, NYC

  • I came to Leslie with a discomfort in my life I couldn't name. She didn't rush me toward answers. Instead, she helped me see what was actually happening beneath the surface. By the end of our work together, I'd made a huge career pivot I didn't know I was ready for — with more clarity, confidence and success than I thought possible.

  • I would not be where I am today if it were not for Leslie's coaching

Sonya MacKay, Founder, The More Human Company

  • Leslie has the innate ability to connect with her clients in the personalized ways they need: to see their strengths and challenges, help them see where they’re stuck, open their mind to new ways of thinking, and guide them to generate successful solutions. Specifically, I’ve learned a tremendous amount of concrete, context-driven communication skills in my work with Leslie. You know when you take a workshop and discover all the things wrong with how you communicate, and then ask, “now what?” Leslie’s work is the “now what” that takes you from knowing to changing. If you’re seeking deep, meaningful personal development in a professional context, with a guide who combines science and practical application, I highly recommend working with Leslie. If you feel stuck or are asking “what now?”, I highly recommend working with Leslie. If you’re ready to do the hard work, I highly recommend working with Leslie. I think you get it. I highly recommend working with Leslie.

LeAnn Locher, CEO, LeAnn Locher & Associates

  • Working with Leslie is like having someone hold up a mirror you didn't know you needed. She's sharp, warm, and completely present. I left every session with something I could act on immediately — and a deeper understanding of why I'd been stuck in the first place

    Rubin Thelson, CEO, Biomark

  • I was stuck — not just in my relationship, but in who I'd become. Leslie didn't offer me platitudes or a five-step plan. She helped me see what I couldn't see on my own, then stood with me as I made the hardest decisions I've faced. She's equal parts truth-teller and steady guide. Working with her didn't just change my direction — it changed how I show up in my life
